Janabeth Evans (Taylor), R.N., R.N.C., Paralegal, has been a successful medical-legal consultant since 1990. She has assisted attorneys in both state and federal court proceedings and is well recognized and highly respected for diligence, thoroughness, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. Ms. Evans (Taylor) has authored and co-developed a broad variety of publications and presentations for lawyers, paralegals and other professionals. Representative topics include medical research, internet search strategies, low speed vehicular crashes, drug litigation, soft tissue injury, placental pathology, and medical expert deposition preparation techniques.
Ms. Taylor was recently honored as an "Oklahoma CareerTech Champion". "Career Tech Champions" are those people who have found success in their career or business and attribute part of that success to past careertech experiences. These experiences come through a wide variety of occupational education programs and student organizations offered in the high school or programs offered through Oklahoma's system of technology centers.
As a medical professional, she is experienced in reviewing medical records for inconsistencies and in locating supportive medical opinions. As a paralegal she offers the added advantage of analyzing, organizing and summarizing the medical findings from a legal perspective. She also has a background in business management, a benefit in medical-legal issues involving major corporations, businesses and hospitals.
Ms. Evans (Taylor) is a Registered Nurse with a National Certification in Obstetrics. She received her nursing degree from Oklahoma State University and was a Nursing Instructor for ten years.
She earned a Litigation Paralegal Certificate from the University of Oklahoma Law Center, a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association, and has been appointed as an Advisory Board Member for the Texas A&M University/Commerce Paralegal Program.
